The Pioneer PDP-6020FD KURO 60" 1080P plasma is now available and shipping. This model replaces the Pioneer PDP-6010FD and looks to be a great unit.

DIRECTV just announced that they are now giving $23 off per month for 12 months for new packages of CHOICE and above. This is in addition to the free 3 months of HBO, Starz, and Showtime. This offer will end on June 24th.

During a press conference in New York on Wednesday Pioneer announced the new line of KURO Plasmas. For the Plasma TVs, both the 50-inch ($4,000 suggested retail) and 60-inch ($5,500) Pioneer models will ship in June, or hopefully sooner, and offer one-year warranties. Plasma Concepts will offer these models as soon as they become available.
